The recipe of the pad

Everything below is enforced by one Solana program. Numbers marked in mono are read from it.

How it works

Every coin launched here is a normal pump.fun coin whose creator is the coin's own account in the program. Holders throw some of a coin into the cauldron: the tokens are burned and the throw becomes a ticket.

The keeper keeps sealed recipes: three ingredients, each a coin and a dose. When the last three throws of a round spell a recipe, in any order, anyone holding the reveal can brew it: a new coin is born and the cauldron buys it at the bottom of its curve. Those tokens are pushed to every thrower of the round, pro rata to credit.

The split

  • 40% of a coin's creator fee to its dev, held until claimed (only the dev wallet receives it).
  • 45% into the cauldron fund (a potion has no dev: 85%).
  • 10% to the treasury.
  • 5% to the $WITCH bucket.

Floored per event; the cauldron takes the remainder, so nothing drifts. Launch fee 0.02 SOL.

A throw

Value = tokens x the lower of the median of three fresh price checks and the live price, and never more than what selling those exact tokens would fetch now. The value picks the dose: small from 0.01, medium from 0.05, large from 0.25 SOL.

Credit = 70% of the value, at most 1 SOL per throw and at least 0.007 SOL. You choose the dose and a slippage: the throw lands only in that dose and only if it is still worth your minimum, or nothing is burned.

A throw must be alone with its coin (no pump trade of it in the same transaction) and from your own token account. It locks a small deposit (ticket rent and the pour fee) that comes back when the round is settled.

Credit room

Each ingredient earns at most 1% of its own real SOL liquidity in credit per round (after migration: a quarter of the pool's SOL). A throw over the room lands clipped; below the minimum credit it is refused. This keeps a coin pumped by its own dev from draining the pot: the round trip costs more than the room pays.

Recipes

Eight pages. The keeper commits each recipe as a hash of its slot, its three ingredients and doses, the potion's name and a secret salt. A live page can not be replaced. A recipe only counts throws made after it was written, and expires after its time.

Expired unbrewed: the keeper must reveal it within 24 hours, or anyone can mark it abandoned and the keeper is flagged. A revealed page stays readable for the proof window: if any earlier window of throws matched it, anyone can prove the keeper skipped it, and the keeper is flagged.

The brew

Budget = the lowest of the free fund, the round's credits and 5 SOL, and never more than 15% of the new coin's supply. The new coin is created by the program with the cauldron as its buyer; the tokens go to every thrower of the round in seq order, the last one taking the exact rest. Pour fee 0.00001 SOL a ticket pays the pusher.

Boil-over

No brew within 30 days of a round's first throw: anyone can boil it over. The round closes, a new one opens, and every ticket's deposit goes back. The burned tokens stay burned.

$WITCH

$WITCH itself can be an ingredient once its mint is set (one time, after a public 24 h timelock, then frozen). The 5% bucket buys $WITCH in guarded chunks and burns it. Until then it accumulates: 0 SOL now.

Parameters

Reading the program.

Admin can change parameters only for future coins and rounds, after a public 24 h timelock.

Trust points

  • The keeper knows every live recipe and could tip a wallet. It can not change a recipe, fake a brew, skip a match unseen, or hide a recipe: reveals, abandon and proofs of a missed match flag it, and a flagged keeper writes no new recipes until a new keeper is accepted (3 days) and the admin resumes.
  • Nobody, admin or keeper included, can move the cauldron fund anywhere but into potions of its own rounds.
  • Admin can pause new launches and throws, propose future parameters (24 h), rotate roles (3 days) and set the $WITCH mint once.
  • Keeper, admin and treasury wallets can not throw.
  • Platform: pump.fun programs are upgradeable and outside our control.
  • Program: WitcH...dPD
